Duration is up to you but we recommend streaming live for a minimum of 1 hour per Live Session. We find that Live Sessions do not hit their peak for 15-20 minutes, meaning short Live Sessions tend to not hit their stride and total possible audience.
<aside> 💡 Remember to take your time and don’t be afraid of silence. A live session on Echio is not a live show or a DJ set where people are expecting a certain pace. And things that might seem obvious for you may not be for your viewers.

Make your Live Session as interactive as possible with the chat module! Fans love when artists pay attention and respond to questions and/or chat. The unique value of Echio is that things are happening in real time. They type, you talk back to them, and bring them into the experience even further. Don’t forget to say the name of the user you’re answering to.
<aside> 💡 You can also post messages to your fans on the chat from your Session Cockpit or your artist page.

<aside> 💡 It’s common that fans don’t ask questions right in the beginning of the Session, most questions usually come around the end of the Session. So it’s a good idea to have something to do (like working on something, playing some of your music or maybe dust cleaning your studio) instead of passively waiting for questions to come.

A good solution to avoid having to switch between Echio, OBS and your DAW or whatever application you’re using during the Live Session is to use a mobile phone or tablet as an Echio interface to check the chat.
There’s a little sound notification when you receive a new question, so make sure your system sound is properly set up with a multi output device (check 4. How to setup your audio? for more info).
You can share any kind of file during your Echio Session : a sample pack, plug in presets, stems, project files, images etc.
You can upload files when you create a Session but you can also add files during your Session. Imagine creating a track from scratch and sell it at the end of the session for instance 😎.
At any time during your Session, click on Add File + in your Live Session Manager.
Then you need to upload the file, add a description and name your price (it can be zero).
